CYA is a short, black comedy about Israeli teens trapped in a job no teenager should have.
Three of the IDF's least competent Military Police Corps soldiers are handed a "routine" mission: transporting a handcuffed, shackled terrorist for interrogation in the south. Naturally, it spirals.
Liran, the team sergeant, just wants to get home to try and win back his ex. One bad decision in the desert snowballs into a bleeding terrorist in the back seat, a smoking gun, and three soldiers desperately pretending everything is under control.
At its heart, it's about the impossible coming-of-age of Israeli youth. They are not heroes nor villains: they should be laughing, making friends, falling in love, instead they're stuck in a conflict they cannot understand, juggling a shackled terrorist, missile interceptions overhead, and an endless, empty road stretching into nowhere.
