CALIX

Tom Ceusters is a professional photographer, who has been searching all his life for undetected works of art in small country chapels. In a splendid medieval chapel he now encounters a young woman, praying to a statue of the Virgin Mary. This woman ignores Tom completely, she seems to be in another world, in which Tom assumes he could terminate his quest. By a miracle the holy statue shows him the way, but instead of repentance and purification, Tom lets pride and greed have the upper hand. So he is doomed and the vision of the Holy Grail is forever out of his reach.
