How To Bury A Dog
A woman and her ex-boyfriend travel to a lake house to bury their beloved dog. A story about two lonely people holding onto each other…
A story set against the backdrop of rural, Ontario, Canada, about mental health, in particular, about mental health in middle age. What happens when life doesn’t turn out the way we thought it would. What happens when we lose all hope. What happens when we feel alone and disconnected from others. There’s particular emphasis on suicidal ideation (inspiration drawn from real life experience). An isolated yet sparkling setting representing the loneliness of depression but with a glimmer of hope and laughter.
