A.J., a nonchalant young man living in Los Angeles, inherits a mystical bracelet once owned by his late father. Unknown to him, the bracelet is sacred to the Orisha of wealth and spiritual balance, Ajé, and watched over by the trickster god, Eshu. As A.J. wears the relic, it reawakens a dormant power and a vengeful spirit begins to possess him, eliminating anyone who threatens or offends him. 
Desperate and confused, A.J. turns to his estranged mother for answers and is eventually led back to a forgotten village in Nigeria, where the spiritual truth and dark legacy of the bracelet are revealed. With the entity growing stronger, A.J. must embrace his identity and history to put an end to the chaos before it consumes him and everyone he loves.
